A hall with a wall of French doors onto Waubee Lake, a lawn to hold the ceremony on, and twenty-four places to put people afterwards.
The banquet hall runs along the lake side of the building with French doors the whole way down it, so the room is full of water light and opens straight onto the lawn when the weather is right. There is a river-stone fireplace at one end and space enough for round tables and a dance floor.
The reason people book it is rarely the room on its own. It is that the ceremony, the dinner, the bar and the beds are all inside a hundred yards of each other — seventeen suites and seven cabins, so the wedding party and the half of the guest list that drove furthest do not have to get back in a car. Nobody drives home from this one.

Weddings
One place for the whole weekend.
Ceremony on the lawn above the docks, or inside if the weather turns. Dinner through the French doors. Rehearsal dinner the night before, breakfast for whoever is still standing, and the lake there the whole time.
The kitchen handles the food, so there is no outside caterer to coordinate and no minimum you have to hit with somebody else's menu. Ask for the wedding information packet and it comes back with the meal styles, the options and what the hall costs.

Banquets & meetings
Not only weddings.
The hall does a lot of other work across the year: birthdays and anniversaries, funerals and luncheons, corporate days, fundraisers, club meetings and family reunions. There is media equipment for the ones that need a screen, and the kitchen will cater off-site as well if the event is somewhere else.
